Miscellaneous thoughts

• Justice is our responsibility. G-d has pretty much left it in our hands. We cannot and should not expect help with it. The universe is a fairly chaotic place. It does not conform to our notions of who deserves what. The only justice we’ll find in it is the justice we impose on it. (07/09/06)

• Peace is not our main goal either. Peace is a very good thing but not at the expense of justice, for example. Sometimes turmoil and war are necessary for creating and preserving an ideal society. (06/15/06)
  
  
• Tolerance is not necessarily a virtue. It can be overdone and harmful. Choose, based on the Five Books of Moses, what you will or will not tolerate. (06/14/06)
